A full day of heavy weapons fighting, rapier and thrown weapons competitions, arts & sciences will be capped by a feast to celebrate the new Heirs of the East!
The Crown Tournament of Gregor and Kiena will be on Saturday, April 27. Combatants and consorts are asked to submit a letter of intent to Their Royal Highnesses in accordance with the laws of the East Kingdom. Click here for more information on submitting Letters of Intent.
Site opens at 3:00 P.M. on Friday. Crown list closes at 11AM on Saturday. Crown Tourney will begin at noon. Stay tuned for more details.
We will have an A&S Display. Please bring your Arts & Sciences creations to proudly display on this joyous occasion of the selection of the Heirs to Their Majesties.
Baroness Johanne i Visby Vicereine of Ostgardr challenges the artists and craftsmen of the East to display projects which feature heraldry, be it their own, their local area or kingdom.
If you wish to contribute please contact Lady Lada Monguligin at A&S@springcrown.eastkingdom.org.
It has been determined that due to the size of the Scouts' archery range and differences in the range rules between SCA and BSA, we can not use the camp's archery range. Therefore the archery shoot has regretfully been canceled. We will be using the thrown weapons range and will be having a thrown weapons competition.
Jolie Delarue will be running a youth point. Youth Point will be set up next to the fighting field and will open at 12:30. Planned activities will include castle building (out of rice crispy bricks) and tassel book-mark making. There will be other activities as well.
Parents: please come and help. Youth Point is not a baby sitting service, and Society policy wisely dictates that here be at least two adults to supervise youth activities.
Per the direction of the site owners, merchanting will not be permitted at this site.
A dayboard will be provided on Saturday. Lord Maol Eoin is in charge of dayboard and can be contacted with any questions regarding allergens at dayboard@springcrown.eastkingdom.org by April 15th.
Lord Friedrich Grimm will be cooking a feast for 100 people. Due to space limitations, no off-board space is available. Any questions about menu or dietary restrictions should be sent to the chef at chef@springcrown.eastkingdom.org before April 15th.
THIS IS A DRY SITE! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
Melanie de la Tour is the Mistress of Revels for the feast. If you would like to entertain please contact her at revels@springcrown.eastkingdom.org. She will be attending King’s and Queen’s Bardic and King’s and Queen’s A&S, so you can speak to her there. Please note that we cannot provide free feast tickets for entertainers.
The Pouch Camp is an active Boy Scout camp, with two lakes, wooded trails, and lots of activities available. In addition to the lists for Crown Tournament, we will have a separate list field for rapier and heavy pickup fighting. We will also have archery and thrown weapons activities. There will be scouts on site and they will likely come to watch the tournament, under the supervision of a scoutmaster.
AGAIN WE MUST REPEAT: THIS IS A DRY SITE! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
There is a discreet no-smoking policy. If possible, do not smoke. If you must smoke, do so where the scouts cannot see it and police your filters. There will be no smoking inside any of the structures.
New York City has a strict weapons policy. Do not wear your knives, swords, or other weapons off site. No firearms of any kind, including non-working replicas of period firearms, are allowed on site.

There will be space for tent camping available on Friday and Saturday nights.
